About the Podcast
A Podcast That Breaks Down the Law — Without the Spin
Most people don’t know their rights — they only know what they’ve been told.
That’s where What You Think Doesn’t Matter comes in.
I take the complicated world of laws, court rulings, and police procedure and break it down so anyone can understand it.
This isn’t a podcast full of feel-good stories or media spin.
It’s blunt, direct, and unfiltered.
My goal is simple:
Cut through the noise and show you what the law actually says — not what people think it says, not what social media says, but what it means in real-world situations.
I pull from nearly twenty years in law enforcement and corrections, a degree in criminal justice administration, and real-world experience on the front lines.
If you’re tired of the BS and want straight talk, this is where you’ll find it.
You’ll notice this show doesn’t sound like it came out of a corporate studio—and that’s by design.
The sound is what I call professional amateur: it’s recorded clean and clear, but intentionally left unpolished. No filters, no voice tuning, no studio fluff. It’s meant to sound real—because it is.
I’m not here to impress you with production value. I’m here to tell the truth, in a way that sounds like it’s coming straight from the street, not a script.
I started this podcast in 2022 out of frustration.
I was watching people argue over rights they didn’t understand, quoting memes instead of reading laws, and treating the Constitution like a debate prop.
So I hit record.
The goal was never to win popularity contests — it was to get people to understand their rights and the system they live under.
No echo chambers.
No spin.
Just facts, clarity, and accountability.
The title What You Think Doesn’t Matter comes from a simple truth:
Your opinion holds no weight in court.
What matters is what can be proven.
What the law says.
What precedent applies.
This podcast exists to remind people that facts, not feelings, shape outcomes.
✔️ Case Breakdowns
Breonna Taylor, Kyle Rittenhouse, Amber Guyger, O.J. Simpson — real cases, real law, not media hype.
✔️ Know Your Rights
We get into the Bill of Rights — what each amendment means and how they apply to your life today.
✔️ Court of Public Opinion
I break down how media coverage and public emotion twist the truth long before any trial begins.
✔️ Street-Level Law
What officers are trained to do, what courts say they can do, and what actually happens during everyday encounters.
When I first launched the show, I recorded over 20 original episodes.
These episodes are being released regularly alongside new content.
They’re raw, unfiltered, and foundational to the show’s mission.
If you want to hear where this started, you’ll find it in the section titled:
"In the Beginning – Where it all started."
Because headlines don’t tell the whole story.
Because most people argue the law without ever reading it.
Because your rights mean nothing if you don’t know how to use them.
Because TikTok lawyers and social media scholars keep spreading garbage—and I’m here to call them out.
Because where mainstream media strips out context, I put it back in—truth the public doesn’t want to hear, but needs to.
Because I don’t just explain what happened—I explain why it happened.
